Bill Bissett

Bill Bissett is know for his unique way of writing poems. He doesn’t use capitalization or correct spelling in his poems. When i first started to read his poem “polar bears on yonge street”(http://www.billbissett.com/html/bill_poetry_polarbears.htm) I didn’t know how to read it because some words were spelled differently. For an example when he wanted to say the word “said” he would spell it as “sd”. It was like a two year old’s writing but I think its a cool unique way to write poems. This writing technique is called orthography and Bill Bissett is one of many poets that use it. But what i really wonder is what made him want to use orthography in all of his poems?
